Announcement on AEON Relief Programme

AEON just made an announcement regarding loan payment deferment and the AEON Relief Programme. Here is everything you need to know!

Banks in Malaysia started giving out deferment for loans when MCO started.  However, as a Non-Bank Financial Institution, AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad also stepped up to assist its customers by providing one-month deferment to all loans except credit cards from April. Later, with the extension of MCO AEON Credit Service provided additional one-month of payment deferment from 1st May to 31st May 2020; to all loans except credit cards just like earlier. AEON just made another announcement today about the deferment and the new scheme; here is everything you need to know.

What is AEON Relief Programme?

As the deferment payment ends at the end of this month, AEON Credit service announces the instalment payment will resume as usual. However, with the procedural requirements under the; HP Act 1967 and the Shariah/Islamic requirements, AEON Credit announces a scheme to assist their customers’ financial needs. This scheme is the AEON Relief Programme for all their loan products. The purpose of this programme is to support and provide financial stability to their customers during this challenging period.
