MotoGP 2020 Update: CEO of SIC; Dato’ Razlan Razali has made his statement in regards to the current issue with Coronavirus (CoVid-19). Also, that SIC has no plans on hosting a second MotoGP race for Malaysia.
Sepang International Circuit just released a press statement. This is regarding the recent news where Malaysia could be potentially hosting a second MotoGP. In the statement, CEO of SIC, Dato’ Razlan Razali says that they have no plan in hosting a second race. He also mentioned about the current issue with coronavirus.

Thursday, 12th March 2020 – Based on the recent news where Malaysia could be potentially hosting a second MotoGP due to the postponement of other circuits, SIC has no plans on hosting a second race.
With the current situation in regards to the Corona Virus (CoVid-19) in Malaysia and worldwide, along with the advise from the Ministry of Health (MOH), the safety of the MotoGP™ fans, riders, team, staff and all personnel involved remains our top priority.
