Hong Leong Yamaha Motor introduces the 2020 Yamaha YZF-R25 with new colours and graphics for Malaysia! Buyers now can choose between Matt Silver & Matt Blue.

The Yamaha YZF-R25 has been in the market since 2014 and it’s been famous among young riders. For 2020 the bike attains new colours and graphics which gives it a sportier look. The bike is already available at the authorized dealers from 17th February 2020. The 2020 Yamaha R25 is priced at Rm 19,998 in Malaysia (excluding road tax, insurance, and no. plate).
In the case of the bodyworks, the 2020 Yamaha YZF-R25 follows the updated 2019 V2 look. The updated look from 2019 echos the larger Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP bike. Just as the previous 2019 model the bike features dual-LED headlamps and updated sleeker bodyworks giving it an aggressive YZF-R1 feel. On top of this, the bike comes with the same 3 in 1 main switch and the updated Digital Multi-function instrument.
New for 2020, buyers have the option to choose between Matt Silver & Matt Blue. On top of the brand new Matt silver colour scheme, the Matt blue for 2020 has nardo grey accents around the bike. Just as the earlier Yamaha R25 in black colour scheme, the Matt silver Yamaha R25 for 2020 features rims with red accents.

As for the powertrain and drivetrain, the 2020 Yamaha YZF-R25 specifications, features the same 249cc two-cylinder DOHC,liquid-cooled engine. The engine coupled with a six-speed gearbox produces 26.5kw/35.5 Hp at 12,000 rpm and 22.6Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm.
The new Yamaha R25 features dual-piston callipers with a single disc at the front and single-piston calliper at the rear. Furthermore, the bike weighs 166Kg and comes with the 14.3L tank with the R1 styling.
