Indian Motorcycle India has launched the FTR 1200 S and FTR 1200 S Race Replica.
In case you missed out, Indian Motorcycle India has launched the Indian FTR 1200 S and the FTR 1200 S Race Replica in India. The Indian FTR 1200 S bears a price tag of ₹ 15.99 lakh whereas the FTR 1200 S Race Replica is at ₹ 17.99 lakh. The firm had already announced the prices of the bikes in December 2018 but its official launch was pushed to this year.
The FTR series features a new liquid-cooled 1,203cc V-twin engine. It is able to produce 120bhp and 112.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The FTR 1200 S comes with premium add-ons, including Bosch stability control with a six-axis inertial sensor. It also has lean-sensitive traction control and ABS. It features three riding modes, namely Sport, Standard and Rain. The firm took inspiration from the FTR 750 flat-track race bike.

The engine gets many new components and runs a higher compression ratio. This is the first-ever production motorcycle from Indian which is lighter when compared the usual heavyweight Indian bikes.
According to NDTV, the firm has started to accept customers. Customers who have any interest in making a purchase may proceed to Indian dealerships and book the bikes by paying ₹ 2 lakh upfront.
