2019 is certainly a year packed with surprises as new models and startups have been making their way into the industry, satisfying the growing demand in every segment. This time, Zero Motorcycles will be greeting the new year with a new bike called the SR/F. The Californian firm has unveiled its teaser displaying the silhouette of the front end of a bike and a date 25/2/19. The brand states that the bike will be ‘the first of its kind’ and the ‘future of motorcycling’. The bike will be an addition to the naked street line-up. This would be a completely new platform altogether. The firm has also announced upgrades for its 2019 line-up in the form of more powerful basic models which have a 35% increase in horsepower. It also comes with new tech features, extended range and multiple styling and colour schemes. The bike also comes with multiple battery options. The top-spec models would have increased power, torque and range but weigh higher than the smaller battery variants. The current Zero SR and ZF14.4 battery package will be fitted with an additional ‘Power Tank’ battery that increases the battery capacity by 3.6kWh.
