Evoke Motorcycles has revealed its final concept designs for its new and upcoming premium electric muscle bike Evoke 6061. The cruiser’s name derives from its unique ‘Twin Plate Frame’. The firm uses a precision laser cutting process that slices out the bike’s frame and battery box out of solid T6061 aluminium billet pieces. The news of the bike’s production has been the talk of the industry for quite some time. This time, with its new designs, we will be getting a look at how the bike will turn out. The design of the Evoke 6061 are spectacular. Mounted to the Twin Plate Frame are the powertrain components, battery packs and tubular subsections. It features an onboard 10-inch touchscreen. The overall exterior of the bike is extremely edgy and futuristic. The Evoke 6061 features a newly developed drivetrain from the firm. This would indicate some improvement in the bike’s performance in terms of speed and power. It is expected to be better than Evoke’s first model. It utilises a high output in-runner motor mated to a chain final drive. The powertrain is capable of delivering up to 120kW (160hp) and over 200 lbs/ft of torque. The Evoke 6061 works with Evoke’s Gen 2 Battery Packs, that are able to charge from 0-80 per cent SOC in a span of 15 minutes. The Evoke 6061 will feature 6 modules of the company’s Gen 2 Battery Packs for a combined onboard maximum capacity of 15.4kWh.
