Harley-Davidson registers the name Bareknuckle

Harley-Davidson registers the name Bareknuckle. Information points to this being the name of the new streetfighter Harley is developing for 2020.

Harley-Davidson wants to give its model lineup a complete revamp. For that, they’ve announced the “More Roads to Harley”. Some models we already know like Pan America or the electric LiveWire. But other models we don’t know their names.

But now we’ve got new information regarding one of the new motorcycles Harley-Davidson wants to sell by 2020. The streetfighter that Harley presented last year as a concept bike will get “Bareknuckle” as her name.

With a V-twin 975 cc engine, the Bareknuckle will surely be a completely different bike for Harley-Davidson. The Milwaukee based brand is used to big cruisers and choppers, and a sporty naked is something new for them. If Harley-Davidson is able to get the chassis set up right and the engine to go with it, then the American brand will start to be much more appealing to a new kind of motorcyclists compared to the ones that buy Harleys today.

At the moment the name Bareknuckle is just registered by Harley-Davidson. But given the connection to street fighting, we bet the name of the new streetfighter will definitely be Bareknuckle.
