BMW Motorrad wants to get a bigger share of the American market and they believe they’ll be able to do it with a brand-new cruiser fitted with the new Big Boxer 1800 cc engine.
Just two days ago we showed you what Revival Cycles did around the new Big Boxer engine. The Birdcage is almost perfect in every angle. But that was just a way that BMW Motorrad found to showcase their 1800 cc boxer.
Now, our friends from Motorrad in Germany caught the bike that will use this Big Boxer engine.
From what we can see from the spy shot, it’s BMW Motorrad takes on the big cruiser market. This is the bike that the German brand hopes will hand them a bigger market share in America.
We’ve already heard the Big Boxer 1800 cc engine roar on the Custom Works Zon bike. But that engine wasn’t a prototype, but in fact, it’s the production version of the new boxer engine from BMW Motorrad.
We expect to see the final production version of the BMW Motorrad cruiser this Autumn.
