In case you missed out, Triumph Tiger 800 XCA has been launched in India and comes with new and significant upgrades over the XCx iteration in terms both off-road capabilities and technology. The bike receives 200 over chassis and engine upgrades and comes in three variants in the Tiger 800 range, namely XR, XRx, and the XCx. The XCa model will be heading to India via the CBU route and be positioned above the XCx. The Triumph Tiger 800 XCa 2019 is powered by an 800 cc in-line three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that, mated to a six-speed gearbox, and is capable of delivering 94 bhp at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 79 Nm at 8,050 rpm. Triumph Tiger 800 XCa Engine “Tiger as a brand is important and central to our product strategy in India. The new Tiger 800 has undergone years of research and development and is the best adventure-ready Tiger ever built,” said Shoeb Farooq, General Manager of Triumph Motorcycles India. “Triumph has developed a host of major new technology and performance updates designed to enhance the new Tiger 800 XCA’s capability both on and off-road. With developments that complement the Tiger’s accessible and agile easy riding style, as well as its existing distinctive Tiger poise and presence, the new Tiger 800 XCA is built for maximum adventure – every single day. We’re sure that its technological innovations and premium styling will appeal to premium adventure enthusiasts in the country.” Triumph Tiger 800 XCa TFT Screen The bike features all LED lighting, backlight illumination for the switchgear, heated grips and seats, joystick control, an aluminium radiator guard, etc.
