The 2019 BMW Motorrad Race Trophy this season consists of a total of 26 championship classes in 21 racing series all around the world and the team is on a roll with its performance. BMW Motorrad managed to score a podium win at the Interlagos season opener for SuperBike Brasil, courtesy of Alex Barros from the Alex Barros Racing team. The Brazilian veteran took on the BMW S 1000 RR for the race and capped his run at second place for the first race of the year, trailing 0.022s behind winner Anthony West from Australia.

BMW made it to the top ten with Danilo Lewis (Brazil) from Tecfil Havoline Racing Team crossing the line in fifth place. Fellow compatriots Bruno Corano (BMW Motorrad) and Diego Viveiros (Picoloko/PRT-Pitico Race Team) ended their run in sixth and seventh place respectively. Round two of the Australian Superbike Championship kicked off at Wakefield Park, four weeks after its initial run at Phillip Island. Glenn Allerton (Australia) from the NextGen Motorsports/Maxima BMW team finished the two races in 15th and 11th place respectively, making him the highest-placed BMW racer. Teammate Ted Collins (Australia) took on 16th place whereas Paul van der Heiden (Russia) made it to 21st place in both races.
