Every year the MotoGP paddock decides on who gets the Best GP award, and this year the winner is the Thai GP, held at Buriram’s Chang International Circuit. This was the first time the MotoGP racers visited this track, and the effort made by organizers paid off big time with the Thai GP winning this prestigious award.
The Thai GP was a great show for the fans on track, with Marc Marquez and Andrea Dovizioso battling out until the last corner. Off track, organizers also had a lot to be proud, with a total of 220 thousand fans visiting the Buriram during the three-day of the MotoGP event.
On race day alone, 100 thousand fans swarmed the Chang International Circuit to watch the MotoGP race for the first time in Thailand!
The vote is done by MotoGP paddock members, who not only make their choice regarding what happens on track, but they also analyze track facilities, people friendliness and fan interaction.
