Just a few days ago we did an article about the arrival of a new and more powerful GS and Adventure version, the R1250, and now BMW Motorrad was unable to keep another of their new models for 2019 hidden from us.
According to CycleWorld, who published the picture you see in this article, this is the first picture of the new F850 GS Adventure.
The Adventure variant of the F850 GS, introduced early this year, will be shown next October during the INTERMOT Cologne motorcycle show, as well as a host of new or refreshed models from the German manufacturer.
As usual, this Adventure version gets spoked wheels instead of cast wheels, a slightly longer beak and small changes to the fairing to give it a more rugged look, and other specific protection elements to make this new F850 GS Adventure the perfect partner to take you out for an adventure into the wild.
Also, we expect BMW to rework the suspensions on the Adventure version to give it more wheel travel, making her much more capable to tackle obstacles during off-road duties, and for those long travels the fuel tank will increase in capacity.
What won’t change at all is the twin-cylinder engine. BMW won’t do anything special to this engine, so, the 853cc parallel twin block that will produce up to 95 hp.
