Boon Siew Honda, official importer of Honda motorcycles in Malaysia, has introduced a new model in the market. The Dash 125 is the motorcycle for those who are looking for a bike who can do it all, at an affordable price!

This new generation of the Dash receives several upgrades compared to its previous version, the Wave Dash that we’ve seen on the road since seven years ago. The new Dash is powered by a single-cylinder engine, with a 125 cc displacement, capable of achieving great speeds and at the same time offering a good fuel consumption.

The style of this cub model is as dashing as ever, but this time Honda created a design that’s even more aggressive and will likely get the attention of younger Malaysian riders, not only by the aerodynamic shape of the fairings, but also because of the racing-style graphics.

The slim silhouette is highlighted by LED lights and an almost mandatory stylish leg shield, and the new Dash 125 also stands out from its competitors by using sporty wheels, a new speedometer and new mirror design.

This new model also sports a new paint schemes, which is more contemporary with four colour options, which are Pearl Magellanic Black, Vivacity Red, Pearl Nightfall Blue and the Repsol Edition, and it comes with a 2-year or 20,000km manufacturing warranty (whichever comes first) to ensure customers enjoy high quality convenience and service.

As for prices, Boon Siew Honda announces that the Dash 125 will cost RM5999 (single brake disc version), RM6299 (double brake disc version), while the more appealing Repsol Edition (also double brake disc version) will cost RM6499.

To show how important the new Dash 125 is, Boon Siew Honda took the opportunity to announce that this new model will be used in the Honda One-Make Race in the Malaysian Cub Prix. Previously named the “Honda Wave Alpha Challenge”, the name of the race will now be known as “Honda Dash 125 Challenge” in line with the migration to this 125cc cub model.

Adding to this exciting announcement, professional rider Zaqhwan Zaidi, two-time Asia Road Racing champion, will be the ambassador of the Dash 125 model. His passion and aspiring journey as a young motorcycle racer is inspiring the younger crowd to reach for their dreams and this makes him the ideal ambassador of the new Dash 125.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
