Ducati is getting ready for what will be a fantastic moment to celebrate the Italian brand history at the World Ducati Week in Misano, in July. During the event that will last three days, Ducati has prepared a number of things that will attract the “Ducatisti”, but recently the brand announced what will be, for sure, the highlight of the event: the Race of Champions.
In this race, and using the Panigale V4S in a special configuration – we are curious to see what is this special configuration – Ducati will let some of its riders battle out on track, giving the fans a moment they’ll never forget!
And who are the riders chosen to enter the Race of Champions at the World Ducati Week?
Well, there’s a total of 12 riders, and all of them linked to some of Ducati best moments in racing in MotoGP and World Superbike.
Ducati factory riders in MotoGP are confirmed, so we will see Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso on track, as well as Jack Miller and Danilo Petrucci also from MotoGP. From World Superbike, there will be Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri, for example. But on track there will be also some legends from the past, and Troy Bayliss will be one of them!
For those attending the World Ducati Week, Ducati will allow some of the participants to feel the excitement from the track, giving access to the grid just before the Race of Champions starts.
