Newly elected government promises to bring back fuel subsidies

Pakatan Harapan, on its official manifesto, promised to bring back fuel subsidies to motorcycles under 125 cc

In what was a shocking result, the 14th general election in Malaysia saw Pakatan Harapan (PH) win the elections and Mahathir Mohamad, at 92 years old, is set to become the oldest elected Prime Minister in the World.

With the victory of Pakatan Harapan, we will see the return of a fuel subsidy.

According to the official PH manifesto for the 14th general election, they promised, among other things like stabilize oil price or abolishing GST, to bring back the fuel subsidies and implement a monthly fuel quota for targeted groups, specifically motorcycles under 125 cc.

Now that Pakatan Harapan won the elections, it’s time to see if they will start to fulfill their promises.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
