MV Agusta is one of those brands that keeps pushing the boundaries of beauty with every new motorcycle they produce in Varese, and the new Brutale 800R LH44 is another example of what the MV Agusta design center can do.
This special edition of the naked Brutale 800RR is the third bike built in collaboration with Formula1 driver and champion Lewis Hamilton, and as such, it’s a bike dripping with special details that transform the Brutale into a different machine!
The Brutale 800RR LH44 is still basically a regular Brutale as we already know her, and that means that the three-cylinder engine with 798 cc continues unchanged and pumping out 140 hp for a total dry weight of just 175 kg.
So what makes this new Brutale so special?
Well, this new Lewis Hamilton version continues to follow the path that started with the Dragster 800RR LH44 and the F4 LH44, and that means that the changes are mainly aesthetic.
Thanks to the input given by Lewis Hamilton, the Brutale 800RR LH44 gets a new paint scheme that mixes the red and black paint from the fuel tank and smaller fairings with the white frame, and besides MV Agusta using many parts in machined aluminium – brake and clutch levers, fuel tank cover, engine covers and other smaller parts -, the Brutale 800RR LH44 gets special wheels painted to match the colors of the bike, an exhaust covered with ceramic coating and customized Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres with the LH44 written in the side walls.
As expected, this is a very special and limited edition bike, so MV Agusta announced they will only produce a total of 144 Brutale 800RR LH44 bikes, and the production at the Varese factory will begin next June.
There’s no confirmed price yet, but expect It to be higher than the regular Brutale 800RR.
