We’ve seen how important it is to choose a good photo of the motorcycle or accessories you’re selling online, but there’s also another thing you should have in mind when you post a motorcycle classified ad: should you use a stock photo or a photo of the actual motorcycle you are selling?
This is our second tip on how to post a good motorcycle classified ad.
Stock photos
Stock photos are created by the motorcycle manufacturer to show a specific motorcycle, but they’re not good to use on a classified ad.
This isn’t as bad as having bad photos, and although you might be selling a brand new motorcycle, you need to show to potential clients the actual motorcycle that you’re selling. Don’t just go online and use a stock photo from the manufacturer.
If you take 5 minutes of your time to get a photo of the actual motorcycle you’re selling, you will be giving the client the notion that you care, that you pay attention to what you are selling.
And that might make the client trust you more and close the deal with you instead with your competitor.
