Tackle the beginner’s choice with the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401

Tackle the beginner’s choice with the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is definitely something you can fall in love with instantly. The Swedish outfit is catered to crossing cobble stones and potholes and is certainly ideal for beginning riders.

Husqvarna got famous after the World War II for its exquisite dirt bikes that come with a simple yet stylish exterior. It has chromium-steel trellis frame powder-coated in black and an electric-green thread running through it.

It features a 337cc four-stroke single cylinder that is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The engine is rather quiet with a modular gas tank and its seat is clad in leather. It sits 33 inches off the ground with nearly seven inches of ground clearance.

The forged aluminum triple handlebar clamps provide balanced flexibility for riders and the front and rear brakes are hydraulically operated with Bosch ABS. It also comes with single, round, LED-fueled headlight.

The bike also boasts its seventeen-inch spoked wheels and grip-happy Pirelli tires, donning a simplistic yet aggressive style. It combines the best of both worlds without being too saturated of either one.

The Svartpilen is rather convenient as it shares information about the mileage and engine diagnostics on one centralized, digital round dial. This mid-sized, entry-level café race-style bike most certainly do not disappoint. It is said to be a reflection of the brand’s range in the 1950s.
