Purchase a KTM 1290 Super Adventure S today and receive a complimentary Travel Pack worth RM5,424!

It sounds like the perfect way to end the year on a high, doesn’t it? The roads are clearer (working parents have left with their kids for the school holidays), work has reached a manageable level (hopefully), the annual bonus is on the horizon and you’re already fantasizing about that long weekend away on your new motorcycle.

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any rosier, KTM Malaysia comes up with an offer you can’t – and shouldn’t – refuse. Starting today, one will receive a complimentary Travel Pack worth RM5,424 with every purchase of the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S.

A what? Allow us to explain. While the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S is already a fantastic bit of kit from the get go, the Travel Pack further adds to its appeal with the inclusion of Quickshifter +, Hill Hold Control (HHC), Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) and KTM My Ride connectivity. Still scratching your head? Do read on.

The Quickshifter + does exactly what its namesake suggests, allowing riders to shift up and down without the use of a clutch while on the move. Next up is the Hill Hold Control (HHC) which prevents the motorcycle from rolling backwards should the rider stop on an incline. Handy, especially when riding around with a full load or lugging around a pillion.

The Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) adds another layer of safety by increasing the engine speed during deceleration on surfaces with low traction. The system works by anticipating the difference between the speed of the front wheel and the rear wheel during deceleration and via the ride-by-wire function, increases the engine speed to eliminate slip at the rear wheel.

Last but not least, a little something to make your journey more entertaining. The KTM My Ride interface allows riders to sync up their phones via Bluetooth to the motorcycle and stream music or even take incoming calls. Once again, with Bluetooth connectivity, you don’t necessarily have to pull over to answer urgent phone calls anymore.
