It seems that the Honda Grom motorcycle and the Honda Scoopy scooter may not be making its launch in India, according to Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI).

Despite the Honda Grom motorcycle and the Honda Scoopy scooter seen tested on the roads of India, HMSI Senior Vice President- Sales and Marketing, Y S Guleria, told sources in India that it doesn’t always mean that it will be launched.

“Any testing which is happening in India probably may not be only for that model. There are sometimes some technology, some specifications, some features, so it’s an ongoing process. So I would request not to read too much into it, and say that a similar kind of model would be launched in the market,” said Guleria.

There is yet to be any further speculation of Honda’s upcoming models but HMSI claimed that they are in the midst of working on new products that may be launched soon during the festive season.
