The Red Bull KTM Tech3 team is ready for the 2025 MotoGP season finale at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia. After missing the last three rounds due to a shoulder injury, Maverick Viñales is finally set to return to racing. The Spanish rider will complete a final medical check on Thursday before being cleared to ride his KTM RC16 once again.
Over the past month, Viñales has focused on rebuilding his strength and mobility. He trained intensively at the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center in Austria, where he worked on endurance, coordination, and recovery. His progress has been steady, and he now feels ready to face a full race weekend again.

“We took the time needed to recover properly, and I’m really happy with the progress,” said Viñales. “It’s important to be back with the team in Valencia. This weekend will show how far we’ve come and what to improve before winter testing. I’m excited to go racing again!”
The Spaniard’s return brings a fresh boost of motivation to the entire team. After an intense season, Viñales hopes to close the year on a positive note and gather valuable feedback ahead of 2026.
Alongside him, Enea Bastianini arrives in Valencia eager to end the year well. The Italian endured a challenging race in Portimao, where early contact forced him to pit for quick repairs. Despite that, he rejoined the race and showed impressive pace, a sign of his potential with the KTM RC16.

“Valencia is a small track, and I’ve never taken a podium there,” said Bastianini. “But we did it in Barcelona this year with KTM, so anything is possible. I felt great in Portimao after rejoining the race, and that gives me motivation for this weekend. I’ll push to be fast from Friday and finish the season on a high.”
Team Manager Nicolas Goyon expressed confidence ahead of the final race of the year. He praised both riders for their strong attitude and dedication, while highlighting the team’s progress over the season.

“We’re happy to be back in Valencia after last year’s flooding,” said Goyon. “The city has done a fantastic job rebuilding. It’s great to have Maverick back with us after his recovery. He worked really hard at the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center and trained on different bikes. Enea has shown great pace lately, so we’re confident both riders can finish the season strongly before starting preparations for 2026.”
As the 2025 season concludes, Red Bull KTM Tech3 is ready for one last dance. With Maverick Viñales returning to full strength and Enea Bastianini aiming for redemption, the team is determined to end the year with a strong result before turning its focus to 2026 preparations. The team is eager to deliver an exciting performance for fans and close the year on a high.
