Ewan McGregor named Moto Guzzi V85TT ambassador

The Hollywood actor rejoins Moto Guzzi as the new ambassador for the V85TT classic enduro motorcycle. Ewan McGregor will advertise the bike.

Ewan McGregor’s passion for motorcycles is well documented. He’s entered many adventures on two-wheels, he has a collection of motorcycles and has worked with some brands. Now, Ewan McGregor is back on the road with Moto Guzzi. The Mandello del Lario based manufacturer announces he is the ambassador for the new V85TT.

It’s not the first time Ewan works with Moto Guzzi. Back in 2013, he was the star of the international launch of the California 1400 in Australia.

Convincing Ewan McGregor to accept being the ambassador for the V85TT wasn’t easy. The famous actor said to Moto Guzzi he would accept the “job” if he could ride the bike and enjoy the work done by Moto Guzzi. So, the Italian brand handed him a V85TT in Sardinia. He then rode the V85TT and finally accepted the invitation.

He will now start a global campaign promoting the V85TT. But in reality, Moto Guzzi almost doesn’t need this! Since the world reveal at EICMA last year, the V85TT has conquered motorcyclists all over the world.

Moto Guzzi dealerships almost can’t handle the demand for the V85TT. The factory is working overtime to supply customers. Test rides are happening everywhere. And the V85TT is the new star of the Moto Guzzi line-up.
